 I saw Harimaya Bridge last week as it was showing for cheap in my town. Cheap being 800 yen rather than the usual 1800 yen at the theaters (and here I thought movies were getting expensive in the States). The movie has a special place meaning for me--it was written and directed by a former JET member who was placed in Kochi, so the movie is set in various places in Kochi. Part of the movie was actually filmed right in my town! ^^
Harimaya Bridge actually highlights a few of the things that were taught to us incoming JETs back in... June/July during Pre-D Orientations and in Tokyo; maybe they'll start using it as a way to introduce life in rural Japan for new JETs. ;)
In other news, I went to donate blood for the first time today. I'll be honest--I was more interested in finding out what blood type I was. Since coming here, I've been asked various times about my blood type, to which I kept saying "I don't know. It's either A or B since my mom is O and my dad is AB." People kept saying I fit more into blood type A than B so imagine my surprise when I turned out to be...
O.
I was so shocked, I actually asked the nurse to do it one more time. The result was again O. So either my parents are mistakenly about their own blood types (possibly), I have a rare mutation leading to lack of either antigens (rare), or, OR I DON'T KNOW WHOSE CHILD I AM!!! (Exaggerating here cuz' I look EXACTLY like both my parents... and act like them. ^^;) Let's hope the quick test to reveal blood types was wrong...

And teukie and eunhyuk was on the show and their expressions went like wtf...
And all the shorts guys of korea are angry and are crying foul...
so the whole production team, got fired...

 Today’s Tokudane, (MC is Ogura-san) Arashi fans in US.

Orista, blog updated. Aiba-san makes the cover of current issue of Orista We introduce inside story of photo shooting. Aiba-kun came to shooting site with refreshing smile. “Today we have many pages Let’s blaze away!” At cut of drinking juice cut, “Oh this taste like the one at café!” picking potatoes. And the cut of plying piano. Photographer said “please lie down”, shooting started. After shooting photographer call him “it’s over now.” But Aiba-kun didn’t move. Then a moment later he get up. But I was in top gear So I will 29 soon. so I might have muscle pain in 3 days. (grin) I can’t forget your faces who came to see us☆ All looked nice faces～☆ Many men came to see us, Arashi concert is just like big family gathering, isn’t it  the atmosphere of that huge dome space get unified All are supreme  As I told at greeting in the end. Orista, Ninomiya-kun does stand up comedy before shooting? Who pass by? Ninomiya-kun shows up serial “secret of ARASHI” He came up in suit. He calls his manager ”Hurry up! Hurry!! He simpers and his manager shows up with a stripe stole. The manager tries to twist Ninomiya-kun’s waist with stole. Impromptu “No! Not there!!” he pointed him out so amusingly. And the manager twists the stole around Ninomiya-kun’s neck and pull some times. Then Ninomiya-kun pleasantly points out “Looong!” The staffs burst into a gale of laughter by stand up comedy by Ninomiya-kun and his manager. The photo shooting was taken in such peaceful atmosphere. During shooting. Sakurai-kun passed in front of Ninomiya-kun’ eye line. (It was just after another magazine interview which started before ours.) “Sho-kun so fast!” Sakurai-kun stopped a second by Ninomiya-kun muttering and proudly bowed and gone for dressing room smartly. At interview we asked his technique of digging.

Hey minna!
As the title suggests, I'm going to Singapore from the 23rd of Nov to arnd the 20th of Jan. I was wondering if anyone knew where to get Arashi-related stuff or even just Japanese stuff (Dramas and such). Also, I want to realise my dream of (FINALLY) trying to learn Japanese properly, so does anyone know any good centers or something with a summer intensive course (or just a decent course)?
Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks in advance everyone! =DD
